What frame materials do you offer, and which should I choose?
We build in three systems: multi-chamber uPVC (best value, excellent insulation), thermally broken aluminum (slimmest sightlines, largest spans), and wood-clad aluminum (warm interior, weatherproof exterior — Custom Design). If you want maximum glass area, choose aluminum. If you want the lowest cost per opening, choose uPVC.
How energy efficient are LUMINAFORM windows and doors?
Every unit ships with a certified U-Factor and SHGC label. Our Low-E 366 package reaches U-0.27 and blocks roughly 95% of UV. Triple Pane Thermal reaches U-0.18 for northern climate zones.
Are these rated for high wind and heavy rain?
Yes. Series X Essential is DP-40, Pro is DP-50, and Pro Max is DP-55 with a 150 mph design pressure rating. Coastal installs should use our marine-grade hardware finish, included on Pro Max.
How do I choose the right size?
Measure the rough opening width and height at three points each and use the smallest measurement. If your opening falls between sizes, submit a Custom Design request.
What's the difference between Essential, Pro, and Pro Max?
Essential is the value system: uPVC, double-pane, manual hardware. Pro moves to thermally broken aluminum with slim sightlines and Low-E standard. Pro Max adds premium thermal break, acoustic laminated glazing, larger spans, and highest pressure ratings.
Can I order a custom size or shape?
Absolutely. Custom Design Series X covers any width and height, plus arched, trapezoid, and radius shapes. A specialist returns an engineered drawing and price within two business days.
